Cyano or dino growth on zoas?

Have any of you ever experienced this form of algea that keeps growing over your zoas? I blow it off a couple times a day but always comes back. My P04 sits at .26 and it was at .44 a week ago before putting chemi pure into my canister filter. Nitrates sit at around 10. I had dinos for a little bit but havent seen any strands with bubbles in a couple weeks since buying a uv sterilizer. Any help would be much appreciated.

It wouldn't hurt to blow them off with a turkey baster.

I blow it off atleast 3 to 4 times a day. That stuff there i had to get a paint brush to wipe off.

2years. I think chemi clean or vibrant screwed my tank up.

Yeah, im almost 100% sure chemi clean dropped my nitrates to 0. That caused dinos which seems resolved. This doesn't seem like cyano either so im at a loss.

Yeah, i replaced my hydors with a gyre 3k and it seems to have helped a lot. Zoas still get like a brown looking algea growing on the polyp. I did an iodine dip for 15mins with lugols and it seemes to have helped. Having problems with 2 of my 11 frags still.

I have 2 of no the max spect gyer but I think it's the ice caps? The cheaper ones. I'll get it every now and then. I dont think the brown slime is cyano or dino, I get it time to time on my zoas and I used to do peroxide dips coupled I bit either more frequent or larger water changes of a couple weeks. Revive also helped with a newer colony I bought that got it and started to perish. I dont know what exactly it is but my guess would be some kind of fungal or bacterial covering them. My take on it was keeping them cleaned off as well as water quality up kept it off them long enough for them to fight it off. If it is a algea that would explain why peroxide will rid it for a bit tho.

Peroxide works but it always comes back in a days time. I thought it was dinos due to that. The flow has gotten rid of that but its just that brown stuff that gets on a few polyp heads that i have now. I think a couple more dips should fix the issue. Zoas are such a pain. I think upgrading my lights after 2years didnt help either.

Yeah they can be that's for sure. I'm not exactly what it is. I've had it multiple times and it usually went away in combination of water changes and dipping.

Did you find a fix to this issue? Im having the same problem....
