This stuff popped up over a couple of days. It's all over the tank and even on the glass. I took this pic on my way out of the house but I'll try to get some param readings soon. Can anyone help me ID? Thanks

I've had the red cyano before, it's not quite that red. This stuff is more brown, but the longer strands are slightly red. It is slimy and comes off very easily. I rinsed that frag rack under tap water and it washed right off. I've heard that dinos are stickier and don't brush off that easily. And it stunk like low tide, haha.

dinos to not stick that bad I had no problem vacuuming them off. The structure of it looks like dinos to me. But I don't see the telltale bubbles that would let you know four sure are the strands held up by air bubbles or are there air bubbles all over the surface of it? That would be the tell. cyano is usually in sheets that look stringy like dinos. If there are air bubbles on it I would definitely say dinos. I hope not. Sorry

LOL
Cyano or dino you can kill the lights and stop feeding and it will die off.
then resume with less lighting and feeding and find a balance where other things thrive but this doesn't come back.
