Friend of mine thought maybe the reddening of that sps Coral skeleton might be Cyano. However it doesn't rub off. This SPS was green when I first got it and bleached out over a couple of weeks. Now it's starting to turn red, from the base up. You can see some regular Algae growing as well as a snail and crab hanging out.

Any thoughts? Should I yank this skeleton out? I kind of like it even though it died.

It might not all be dead, (?) but if it is it will probably be covered in algae pretty quickly. If you leave it in, it eventually might get overgrown with coralline algae and just look like another piece of live rock. If any of the coral is alive, that part can grow back, but it does look pretty far gone at this point. Leave it or pull it if you get tired of how it looks.

Well it was completely white a few days ago. Now this redish pink colour. I figured it was dead complete and maybe another variety of coral taking over or something? or perhaps it has adapted and is now a redish colour? very new to SPS so I don't know :)
