I have thred stuff growing around my tank. It grows on the sand and also on the rocks. It’s get long and moves in the current.

It appeared to be cyano so I used chemiclean. I am just finishing up the 48 hours after adding it and it hasn’t done anything. There is just as much as there was before I added it.

Some of it seems to go away at night when lights are off but grows back in the day. I have read that an old light can cause that but I have a Biocube 29 with StevesLED kit with extra violet LEDs so I don’t know how that could cause it.

Ammonia - 0
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite - 0
Salinity - 1.026

Please help.
Thanks
