Cyano Question

Can Cyano be a brownish color in small matty sections with some string like parts to it? I do not see any bubbles to speak of. I would not think Diatoms would have the string like texture. Thought Diatoms were more fine dust like. Thanks

Could be dinoflagellates. Post some pics without the blue lights on for a better chance of ID.

Thanks. I will try to post pic soon. Pretty certain it is not Dino. No bubbles at all and the snails are eating it with no ill effects.
