So I am getting some cyano only on the top rocks, none on sand I turned down the intensity of my light a little but I can't turn it down anymore as my sps are at the top and need the light and nitrates are at 5ppm and phosphate undetectable using api kit and thought you needed higher phosphate to get cyano. I feed verry small amount of pellets as I only have 2 fish I do a 10 percent water change every week too so I was wondering if I made a diy algae scrubber if that would help get algae out of the display or not. Not sure what to do to get rid of it. It is starting to grow on the base of my stylo and acro. Thanks
