Cyano?

What do you guys think? Pretty thick mats of this stuff all of a sudden growing everywhere.

The bubbles, as i learned from @twilliard , are a good indication that it is cyano. Thats a mighty outbreak. I do believe only definitive way to tell is through a scope. Also check into his (i assume twillard is a he lol ive never checked) his peroxcide dosing and other tips.

My personal opinion how ever is yes, cyano

That is cyano. If you want to knock it out in one day, buy this stuff called red slime. Look it up on youtube. I used it once.....The end. Lol. Just keep the water aerated for a few days while using it. Your lfs should carry it. Hope this helps
 
Thanks. It is quite the outbreak, came out of nowhere over the course of 1 week. And it's irritating coral. I read through that peroxide thread and I'm thinking of giving it a shot. I think he mentioned spirulina or something like that might look similar as well?
