Ok I’m a bit confused. All my levels look great, fish doing great, corals are beautiful. Rocks look wonderful other than the cyano. I barely clean my glass as algae typically doesn’t grow now. Have done a water change 30%. But I clear the cyano off rocks and sand and it almost immediately comes right back. Just not sure why I can’t get rid of it and why it’s even there.

How old is the tank?

What size is it and what are you using for flow?

Is your flow good in the areas where you see the cyano?

Can you provide a FTS and some pics of the cyano under white lights?

Lastly do you have your parameters?

Agreed with above. Flow is very important. Make sure there’s no dead spot. That’s where you would most likely find cyano. Check your phosphates.
I’ve once battled with cyano in my old tank for a while. I ended having to turn off my lights for 3 days every a few months and that kept it under control.

I just deal with mine. Am I the only one?

I feel like I get get good flow. I have a maxspect gyre xf250. Seems like I have the majority of the tank. My nitrates are 3 and phosphates 0. The tank is about 4 months old. It is a Red Sea 525xl. Let me see if I can get good pics.

Yes. I use the ati for phosphate and nyos for nitrates.

I have the same tank and gyre.

My rock work is open and away from all the glass. My flow is great with no dead spots

Highly recommend the Hanna phosphorus ULR.

Your nitrate test kit is a good one

I think we need a good PO4 reading

Do you think I should do a round of nopox?

Don't know if you're still having a problem but it's the same with me. 200g with 0 phos and 2 nitrate. Used Cyanoclean by KZ and it worked the first time. Then I changed my lighting a bit and BOOM! Full fledged outbreak. Cyanoclean is not working. I blow off my rocks and the next night their covered again. I'm puzzled. I want to use Vibrant but I don't want to loose my chaeto.
