Help!!! Im getting frustrated with this red stuff in my tank. Looks like cyano, but not too sure. Is there a way to get rid of it fast? Driving me nuts. I was never able to get rid of it in my old tank and I would hate for it to happen again.

Chem Clean follow directions, increase flow. Check N/P, minimize use of specialized coral foods if,in use.

Looking at your tank, doesn't seem like much is going on. It's just on your sand. I would try the 1ml per 10gallon peroxide every 12 hours untill it's gone, or using any type of oxidizing products like chemiclean to remove cyano. Although you always want to shy away from using potions and magic bottles, you could always syphon it out every day/every time untill it's completely gone. That's what I usually do..

I understand its frustrating and discouraging, but they say cyano bacteria was the first lifeforms on earth. No matter how the dice is rolled eventually it'll pop up in your tank. Manual removal is always the best option.

Looks like it. Try to suck it out and add flow to the area. If you can't manage to get rid of it naturally, there are additives that get rid of cyano.
