Cyanobacteria and Bristleworms

I don’t belive there is a link. Interested in the though process behind it.
I have had large numbers of them with and without cyano.

Personal curiosity and a little fear. When I moved everything from my old system to my new one I tried to make sure I brought along the bristleworms. I have yet to see one in my new tank. I don't know how worried I should be.
I made a few changes to my old system when I was fighting cyano. I added iron and started growing chaeto which is what I attributed to the cyano going away completely. But, it dawned on me that my bristleworm population also increased during that time.

I have quite a few bristleworms in my tank/fuge and have not had any issues with cyano. I have noticed, however, a slight drop in my nitrates from 5ppm to 2ppm. Not sure if it's from that or my macro algae growing.
Hmm. Well they do eat a lot poo and little bits of food. Stops it from decomposing in the sand and on rocks.
