I added a Viparspectra 165W to my 40 gallon tank and within 2 days my tank is infested with red slime. I'm not 100% sure it isn't dinos. I was planning to add a few more fish next weekend. Should I wait until this clears or will it be ok to add them anyway?

I would add them. Not like you don't already have cyano. I mean verify your phosphate levels are super low of course. Like none. Cyano happens regardless of what fish you have in the tank when you first set it up. My tank is 6 weeks old and I have 9 fish in it. No problems. It's 133 gallons though with a 30 gallon sump. Are your fish in quarantine?

My LFS has had them in quarantine for 2 weeks. I was going to quarantine them for an additional week. I'm supposed to pick them up tomorrow.
