i noticed Cyano on the frag that I recently brought. Should I dip it in hydrogen peroxide ? What’s the best way to get rid of it

+1 on toothbrush. Just clean it off being careful not to irritate the coral on the plug. I would use a soft toothbrush. And just use some tank water to rinse it over the sink and put it back in the tank. A little more flow in that area will help make sure it does not return.

Second the advice above but it’s virtually impossible to not introduce algae to your tank. Even if you miraculously didnt introduce yourself. There are algae spores in the air.

Not getting an algae outbreak is husbandry.(bubble algae is my exception to this).

do you think you can dip a zoa frag in chemi clean? I hear people say they add this to their tank monthly to help zoas thrive?

Cyano is already in your tank assuming it is brand need so no need to worry!

Absolutely. I'm gonna be brushing every single frag plug that goes in my tank.
