I built mine a cave. Once they find a home they are pretty happy, despite the perpetual frowny face. Hope your urge to buy has be satiated lol.

I know I'm too late, but you should never use a fish to cycle/test for cycle completion... It is at the least very stressful for the fish and at worst will kill them. This is just my opinion and we all have those. [emoji23]

Also, you might want to look into starting a quarantine and putting your fish through that before introducing them to your display.

I was gonna get a shrimp too but the store didn't have one!! And I'm almost certain my cycle is good. And this little fish can't put off too much waste..
