Ammonia - 0.25
NO2 -0
NO3- 20

for almost 10 days

PH - 8
ammonia -0.25
NO2 0
NO3 -20

ghost feeding with pure ammonia and bio spire

no skimmer no reactor. only filter pad and ATO running

NUVO 40 with 20 lb of live rock and live sand

i just dosed once

and yes i used API test kit
For some reason ati sometimes just gives the .25. No idea why.
I’ve had it be accurate and also .25.

If you don’t have a lfs to take it to, and don’t want to buy another more expensive kit , you can pick up or order an ammonia alert badge.

If you added enough ammonia , and bio spira , the tank will cycle.

If the Rock was already live , it’s cycling.

Api to test ammonia is not bad but for N02 and N03 I use salifert, believe me way better reading. Don't add more ammonia. Let the tank run and maybe just add bacteria or seachem stability. I use DR.Tim bacteria and ammonia and was ready in two weeks.

Fun fact. Dr Tim made the formula for bio spira.
Dr Tims has more stains in it.

I would use something other then API.
I constantly got .25 ammonia and 0 nitrates. When I finally got my Red Sea test kit I had 0 ammonia and 50ppm nitrates. Which was may more consistent with the time line of my cycle
