Ammonia was 0 and nitrite was 0 then i add it in i didnt use no bleach after i add the rocks in my dt i did a test afterwards everything was at 0

Bleach shouldn't have been required then. Sounds like you just dosed too much ammonia. I know Dr. Tim recommends dosing one drop per gallon if you use his ammonia chloride.

No i bought ammonia at ace hardware store
