I'm about 80% confident I'm on the right path but wanted some experience to weight in.
Reefer 450
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrate 5
PH 8
Skimmer running with 10 hr light schedule
Fishless cycle with dry rock and sand.

Do I continue straight and wait for algae bloom or start ghost feeding to keep bacteria going and wait for bloom? Thanks all

You will need to feed so the bacteria counts will continue to rise. With no food (ammonia) they too can die off.

Yes you are on the right path.
You will need to add more ammonia or ghost feed.
Your tank will be ready for livestock when you can add 2 ppm of ammonia and it gets processed into nitrate in 24 hours.
But then you know this already.

J-cor, you are on the right track and appear to be doing fine. You need to ghost feed or add a small amount of pure ammonia (no surfactants) to feed the bacteria.

BTW, I like your avatar. If you ever get to the Florida Keys make it a point to stop in at the History O Diving Museum. It's full of stuff like that and very educational.
