I’ve read a bunch of threads which have been helpful.
I’ve been cycling my 40b with live sand, few pieces of live rock, HOB filter and skimmer. Used bottle of Bio Spira.
Several days ago, my LFS tested my water and said it wasn’t ready yet.

These are my results today, Am I good to go?
thanks

I think you are good to go with caution. I'll add just 1 fish at this time. If your fish is eating well and your parameters ok after 3 weeks, then you may think of adding another fish or some CUC. And have some water ready just in case.
Happy reefing!

Looks very good! I would just add something simple first to start out. Maybe a chromis or two. That way if he doesn't make it, you're not out a ton of money. How long have you been cycling?

the pics of the rocks / tank are most important/ neat cyclers trick

all written items and time frames will be cycled if true live rock was used...from pics we might can see coralline or attached fanworms or algae or corals that would indicate its been underwater a long time.

The rocks always keep the bacteria if kept wet, even if moved from lfs to home.

the live rock might come from a bin in the pet store marked live but with low coralline; those are usually equally live and the actual bin the rocks came from have the tiny brittle stars or pods or shell castings lining the bottom of the tank (indicators of true live rock if pigments haven't set in yet)

Did someone say 40b?????

If everything checks out with the cycle its time to stock this tank!

Also don't go crazy adding after the 1st one. When I was stocking my 75 gallon I would go two or three weeks before adding another one.

Thanks for welcome and encouragement.
This is an pic of tank with the rocks

I’m looking for easier small fish that will be OK with hardier LPS corals down the road.
for stocking, probably will try to keep it light. I thinking of eventually 1 each of

royal gramma
Coral beauty
Banggai cardinal
Fire goby
+\- interesting clown

what do you think?

Howdy
Looks ready to me. Any plan to QT the fish?

Hi!
I don’t have a QT tank set up yet, so it’s a dilemma. Maybe as I go deeper into stocking list I could set up maybe 10g

at this point with empty tank I guess not a whole lot to lose. Although i could be out of commission for a while if I get early ich or something.

any additives or dip may be prophylactic? I have some paraguard lying around.
