I think more LFS should do what Aquatics Unlimited does and provide nice dry rock that it has cycled for months in a fishless system with bacteria fed by ammonium, so it’s not exposed to pests. It’s a great service and I’ve used it for setting up both my tanks. I thought more fish stores did this, but when it was mentioned on Reef Beef I realized it may not be a common thing.
