Ok guys and gals
I'm in the process of cycling my tank. I started on 4-24 and started adding ammonia 5-4 and today I was doing my test and noticed some brown spots on the rock and the sand. Is this normal or do I need to do something else? And should I do water changes during this process?

Perfectly normal :) it's part of your cycle. You're going to see lots of colors come and go in the coming months as your tank cycles and matures :)

I hope you don't like that super white rock. It'll be a totally different color in a couple weeks! All good/normal things.

your just getting the uglies you'll get the pretties in a few months.it's worth the wait however.
