It’s been 15 days. I have a 60g tank with a canister filter. I have about 50lbs of live rock. I have had nothing spike in my tank yet. I added fish food about 5 days ago to spike the ammonia, had a little spike two days later but back to zero today. Half of the tank is getting brown. But everything is testing zero.
Any ideas?

Give it time. If your rock was fully cured you may not get much if any cycle. Even still don't rush things.
You may want to look into other options besides a canister filter if your planning a reef tank. While canister filters work well at removing stuff from the water column, until you clean it it is still in your system. The problem with that is it breaks down into nitrates and phosphates, becoming a algae food source. The only way to prevent it is to clean it at lrast weakly. To clean just rinse and media in a little old tank water. That way you don't kill all the beneficial bacterial.
Good luck and welcome to the hobby snd R2R.

Just started a new tank a few months ago and the nitrogen cycles goes very fast as long as you already seed the tank with bacteria from either someone else's or off the shelf stuff. Doesn't take long at all.
