I have dry rocks cycling in my garage and we're having major heat out here in Lancaster 104 and higher.

So what temperature will the bacteria dye off?

Not at 104.
Just keep it well circulated and drop a airstone in there.

212 F is too hot.
While 100+ would be too hot for most fish, bacteria should thrive in those warmer temps. Some people run their cycle vats hotter to speed up that process. I generally try to keep my rock nearer to the tank temps if possible, but again I don't think your situation is going to mess up your bacteria population.

I trust you will have A/C or a chiller to keep your tank temperatures closer to 80.

Yeah I have a chiller on my tank. Just mainly concern about the cycling rocks
