Cycling Frag tank

Hello and thanks for looking. Adding a 40 gallon frag tank to my 150 gallon system. Wondering best way to go about cycling as to not disturb corals once I open up the valves.

Frag system will have 20 lbs of dry rock.
150 gallon is established and been running for 2 years.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have 5 tanks plumbed together in my system. I would think you should really have no issue as the rock in the 150 will handle any excess. When I turned on my 60, the rock and sand went through the uglies but the other 2 reefs looked the same.
