Hello. I start a new tank, upgraded 60 to 200 gallon, but on my new tank I use dry sand and dry rock. I use about 15 gallons of old water and the rest of the water was mixed up salt water by me. I did not use any nonRO/DI tap water. I also put small piece of live rock in the tank from previous tank. It is 4 weeks now and Nitrate till very high. What else should I do? Any suggestions?

well sounds like you seeded with some LR, you could add some LS from another tank to help but in the end your still waiting.

yes generally all dry will becuase you sometimes haev die off depending on what kind and where you got the rock. if it is dry clean rock with no die off it can go a little faster
