CYCLING MY FIRST REEF TANK...

Hi thanks for the reply I would be using man made rock so no need for curing so I could put man made rock in the display along with live sand and that would cycle?

Could I add some live rock to the sump to help it along? Or will that make no Difference?

Would I need to ghost feed the tank?
If so what is the process for this?
The tank will need a source of ammonia to start the colonization of bacteria. Some people ghost feed. And some people dose an ammonia product, until the nitrogen cycle is complete. Some people also use biospira or similar to Kickstart the bacteria.

If you use the search feature, you will likely find a good handful of threads which go into detail on this process. ;) If you don't find everything that you're looking for, or have additional questions. You can always start your own thread in the forums. that way your questions will reach a much broader audience, compared to here on the introduction forum. [emoji106]
