Started cycling a new tank about a week ago. I checked the ammonia and this is what I got. I know it's normal to go through ammonia spikes but does this seem high to anyone? I only used a little bit of water from one of my current tanks to get it going. I'm using dry rock out of an old tank that has been dry about a year now.

Mine went super dark green as well, I used all dry rock as well. I started using microbacter7 and man it really kicked things off quickly. I wouldn't be worried about it. Means you'll be seeing nitrites soon lol

Ok thank you for the replies. Yeah that makes sense if there was organic matter still on the rocks.
