Cycling no change in ammonia

I'm setting up a new tank and it's been running for 2 weeks. I used new "live sand" along with some seeded from my main tank along with over 50 pounds of live rock from my main tank. There is trace ammonia and it hasn't gone up or down in 2 weeks. There is no nitrite may be trace nitrate but looks like none to me. Ph is between 8.0-8.2 I have a snail and micro starfish and some sort of polyps in the tank and feed it here and there.

When should I start seeing nitrites or nitrates?

You may not see much of a cycle at all if you used established rock from your current set up.

Anything I need to do to get rid of ammonia? Should I do a water change or just leave it be for another week and see what it does?

I wouldn't change the water if there's nothing in the tank yet. You could add some beneficial bacteria.

I agree it should be good but it can't hurt to wait another week. I used the bacteria in my tank and never saw the spike's. and with so much live sand and rock you prob wont either with that much live stuff going in the tank.
