Hey all,
So I've been cycling a QT tank for about 3 weeks now and I have been adding adding micro bacter 7 and micro bacter XLM every week.
Also dead clams for ghost feeding
I haven't been testing for ammonia at all as i can wait the month it takes. The ammonia alert badge shows nothing but i know they're unreliable.
I added pods that I've been culturing and they've been doing great.
SO I'm wondering if the pods are good, is it cycled and/or good enough to put fish in.

also my QT is not going to be copper based.
mostly prazi and general cure with a period of just making sure they're healthy after the meds.

Bacteria need to settle on surfaces. Do you have any biomedia, HOB filter?

Generally sand and rock is not the standard for QT, but I can see your point if you are not planning to use copper, but then you have to establish separate treatment tank in case your fish catch marine ich.
