Cycling question

I'm waiting on my tank (32 gallon biocube) to cycle that has live sand, semi-live rock (recycled from a low end brackish tank) and that is being dosed with Seachem Stability. I regularly test my parameters and am getting low readings of ammonia and nitrate, but no nitrite? Is this normal? I thought you should see nitrite before nitrate. I am using RODI water so it shouldn't be the issue. I wanna know my tank is cycled but it seems like its skipping a step...

Sounds like you are almost, but not quite done. If ammonia still registers, you still have some time to go.
It is very possible that ammonia is being converted to Nitrite, and subsequently Nitrate already.
