Hey guys,

I’m about 3 weeks into my cycle and ammonia and nitrite are regularly at 0, 24 hours after adding ammonia. My question is whether or not you guys think I’m ready to turn my lights on for a few hours a day. Being that it’s been about 3 weeks I feel it could be time to turn them on but I wanted your opinions.

Thanks guys!

I sound like it, but I last cycled a tank in the early 2000’s

How did you start the cycle?

@HotRocks might be able to help

I would say so, but I don't think there is any way to avoid the brown uglies.

I went with dry rock, “live sand” and dr tims method
