Hey, my tank has been cycling for 2 weeks now. I used Dr. Tims one and only as well as their ammonia. My ammonia is now at 0ppm for about 2-3 days now and nitrite has gone from like 4-5 to like 1.5 over a few days. Should I add more ammonia? Just wondering because Dr. Tim's says not to add more ammonia until both ammonia and nitrite are below .2ppm but will ammonia being at 0 right now cause any problems?

Great thanks so much. This is my first reef tank, can't wait until my tank is fully cycled, just wondering, how much longer do you think it might take?

1-2 days, but hard to say. When ammonia is gone it’s safe to add first fish, NO2 is not very toxic to marine life as it is to fresh. Good luck!

Great! I have seen people saying now that once ammonia is at 0 you are ok to add fish since as you mentioned now we are learning that nitrite isn't very toxic to marine life. You think it would be ok to order and add fish? As I mentioned, my ammonia has been 0 for 2-3 days already. However, others still say wait until cycle is finished

I am one of the people who say wait until it is fully cycled, few more days :) I know you are waiting to get fish in there but patience is key to this hobby.
