CYCLING QUESTION

I have a chance to get my rock and CUC this wknd and i was wondering if i could but the dry rock and CUC and cycle w/ CUC in the tank. I have 10lb of live sand that ima put in the tank. I plan to get 1 hermit and 2 astrea snails. tank is a 10g

Not sure they’ll survive the ammonia spike.. if you seed the tank with a little live rock you’d be okay.
