Cycling Tank done in 6 Days?

I started a 20 gallon nano last Saturday. Added 20 lbs. live sand, approx.10 lbs. live rock, and added full bottle of biospira, approx. 80 drops of dr. tims ammonia. I have been checking ammonia levels everyday since then and they have been reading zero for the last 3 days. I checked nitrite yesterday and they read zero as well. My question is I guess, is this even possible? I had the lights off during the whole cycle thus far, so no algae has grown. Also if this helps, the live rock was well established before I bought it and already had amphipods and sea stars on it.

Dose ammonia back to 2ppm and if it is back to 0 in 24 hours then you are good. Biospira is great + established live rock is even better. As long as ammonia goes from 2ppm to 0 in 24hrs or less then you can start stocking slowly.

!!! welcome to R2R !!! Yes, live rock plus Biospira you can have that tank cycled in a week or even in couple of days. Just an small 10% water change will get you ready. Anyway, go slow stocking.

your cycle wasn't 6 days it was a skip cycle. live rock shows up with all needed bac. I have never cycled any reef tank, I brought home frags w my live rock on my current setup

Thanks all for the fast replies. I added in more ammonia before I left for my research, so I will check it tomorrow around 11 to see what our levels are at. I am not home right now but I will post a picture soon.

What is your stocking list?

I only plan to add one ocellaris clown in initially and then add one more in when my LFS gets its ORA shipment in next month. Once they are established I am going to add Zoa's, a frogspawn or hammer, and then xenia. The plan is to have 2 clowns and maybe a goby at some point, but that is really it.
