Cycling tank

So added 20kg of live rock and some ocean direct live sand to my tank and i have red sea test kit the ammonia seems to be off the chart without even adding in ammonia source myself correct or dodgy test kit i have also added dr tims one and only and has not seemed to change in 24 hours

just tested nitrate and its reading 2 on red sea chart so the cycle must be happening right? its just wierd how ammonia is off the charts with out adding a source and nitrite reading 0

Your live rock and sand will have a lot of decaying stuff on it.
