Hello, I just set up an 30 gallon all in one tank today. I have done a ton of research so I believe that I am ready but am nervous that I will mess up. If I could get any tips on cycling the tank it would be greatly appreciated.

This is the most simple and easy thing to do:
Buy a bottle of Bio-Spira (get the one rated for 35 gal), dump the whole thing into your tank. Add fish food for an ammonia source. Test everyday until there is 0 ammonia and 0 nitrite. You should be cycled in a week at most. Then, add your first fish.
