Hey my nano is in a serious cycle right now getting impatient
Anyone ever use stability additive?
Just wondering of adverse effects before I add it

It's really nothing more than a bacterial additive...
Dose it work, probably.
Will it speed up your cycle, yes but so will time.
Will it cause any issues, maybe if over-dosed but, nothing more than a bacterial bloom (maybe).
Will your tank cycle with out it, yes (slower).

If you decide to use it follow the dosing instruction, so as to mitigate a possible bloom.

Thanks probably should have added background
Went to my local coral store that I know has the nicest water picked up 20 gallons from there coral flat 6 pound live rock 1-2 pound rubble
And a 20 pound bag of live sand
Had 15 dry
Added all together and still cycled should have went, with dry sand
My mistake it's been a week and seems to be at its peak in impatient though

How many days running are you currently at?

No disrespect but you have an extremely young tank...
that said, you have more than a few stages that the system will be running through in order to be considered "cycled".

Even using system water from the lfs? Only thing is the 15 pounds of base rock and live sand
At best you are going to see some sort of a mini-cycle.

Not to come off rude but the 1st lesson in this amazing hobby that we all must learn is patients. Nothing happens good anyways, in a reef tank. You will have less problems in the long run if you let your tank just do its thing for a bit. And you will save a lot of money and frustration too! Get ready for some algae next! Lol
