I have a 10 gallon and it can take 1ppm ammonia to nitrates in less than 24 hours and I have a couple questions.

1. Should I keep doing it until 2ppm can go in less than 24 hours?

1a. is 1ppm in less than 24 hours good if I want to get 2 clownfish only?

2. My nitrates are very high and I've heard water changes reduce them. At the end of the cycling process, can I remove all of the water?

3. I don't need to do water changes during the whole cycling process right?

2-3ppm to zero in 8-12 hours is safe by my strict standards.

no water changes until after cycling.
