First off...this is not a "how do I get my tank to cycle faster" thread. I'm currently a week into my cycle and after using some ammonia the other day and the levels are still high so I know I need to give it some more time. I'm content to wait.

When I started however, I based my calculations on my 90 gallon tank with using enough Dr. Tim's for 90 gallons of water....completely forgetting about the sump. My question is should I wait longer or is it safe to add more Dr. Tim's? Is there such a thing as adding too much bacteria? Thanks!

No there is no such thing as adding too much Dr Tim's. Worst case scenario is you could waste a little bit of money on it.

When I cycle my tank pretty much didn't add enough so I just bought a another bottle and added the whole thing in not sure if I lost a little bit of money or not but hey my tank cycled that's all I care about. LOL
