So it’s been 2 months since I started my set up added turbo start live bacteria and live sand and dry am Marco rock I looked underneath the sump and I have this is this normal the other white stuff went away now i got This

How much flow do you have going through the sump? To me, it looks like you're generating a bunch of bubbles from your drain, kid of like a skimmer.

Skimmer is pulling out brownish foam as far as flow it’s slow not goin through fast I have my vectra l2 at 30% as far as the drain no bubbles comin out

I have not seened any bubbles comin out the drain my skimmer is at its lowest settings I have a reef octopus elite sss220 I was told it’s a bit overkill but rather have more than less

Skimmer shouldn't be on yet in my opinion. I don't turn mine on until after the ugly stage is over when cycling a new tank

Nitrite 0

I had the lights off While it was cycling
So don’t know if I can put corals or fish wanted some advice as to what to do about this brown slime
