Cynarina help

So my cynarina is developing some white streaking. It opens up fully and seems pretty normal otherwise. I do see there's a little sponge or something on a bit of the skeleton maybe. Is the white streaking some kind of infection or something? I imagine bleaching would look different. Has anyone seen this before?
