Cynarina skeleton

I bought this red cynarina 3 days ago for 7 bucks. When it closes up the skeleton pierces to the flesh. Will this easily heal with a stable tank?

Corals are extremely cheap in my country. That red cynarina is actually on the expensive side hshahah. How often do you mean by feeding it regularly? Because I feed my other cynarina once every 3 days.
