had a spike in my tank due to an issue with my chaeto reactor. I was preoccupied with a sick family member and noticed it after a week. Fish and corals survived, but now I’m growing this, which I’m assuming is cyno. I have a 72 gal bow front, 25 gal fuge, skimmer, chaeto reactor(up and running again with new chaeto) parameters seem normal, and I know that’s most likely due to the macroalgae and whatever this is growing in the tank using up the phosphates. Tank is 4 months old. Did one round of red slime treatment and saw minimal reduction. Vacuum it out with water changes (usually done every two weeks 15/20%) any help confirming it’s cyno and any tips. It’s almost like a hairy algae after it grows for a few days. Also lost a pulsing Xenia thru this all, It retracted and then dissolved away in a few days. Rest of corals are doing fine with the of a toadstool with isn’t happy and I don’t want to lose. I have flow down on the bottom I can see the algae moving well it in

My corraline growth also has appeared to stop/ even possibly dying off in places. I notice it on the top of my rocks seems to be almost whitening
