Sooooo
I have a 70 gallon tank (display), I have a 20 gallon sump. And I have a 10 gallon tank. All three are connected through the sump. Which means both the 70 gal and 10 gal are going through a algae scrubber, gfo and carbon, filter sock and slimmer. My displayis looking real good
(to me at least).
with my 10 gal I kind of let it go to try and let it act as a Refugium. Today I walked in and now it’s completely covered in a red slim.
Only REAL differences are the lighting and the 10 gal has a sand bed and the 70 is bare bottom.
so my questions are: why did this happen? What can I do to get rid of this? In the 10 gal I have a snail, small goby (little itty bitty guy) and a mandarin. I’ll attach pics of what they look like, and I don’t have parameters yet ( my day off is this wed). The pic also does not show the cyno break out. The 10 gal has a lot more growth to it also.
