I have had this Cyphastrea for over a month and it has been doing very good in my tank. The other day a hermit crab was climbing on it and knocked it over face down into the sand. Since then it has lost its most of its blue color and is now turning more brown and the polyps used to be open all the time now they are closed. Will I ever get that same blue color back?

Salinity 1.024
Alk 10
Calcium 440
Nitrate 5 ppm
Phosphate .25 ppm

Mine got stressed and turned brown as well. It's been almost a month without changes, but I can actually see it growing new polyps... hopefully it'll go back to blue with more time

Hows your cyphastrea doing now?
The Cyphastrea has made almost a 100% recovery it had completely died browned out only 1-3 polyps kept the orange and the skeleton where it had died was starting to peel off. I got my parameters fully in check in mid-late January then it has been recovering since. I think this is the thing I am most proud of in the tank because I watched it die and nursed it back to health.

Grats bro. Always a good feeling to keep these rare and disappearing from the planet life forms alive that we harbor in outr tanks.
