I have a sps dominant reef and have been able keep everything I put in the tank healthy, colorful and growing, except meteor shower cyphastrea. It has great polyp extension, and great growth. In a year it went from a small encrusted frag plug to about two 6 inch in diameter pieces, but I cannot get it to color up. The polyp are a bright red but the base is a cream color almost. I have tried high light, low light, shade etc. Anyone have any tips for gettING this baby to color up ?

Tank...
40 breeder 20 sump
2 x hydra 26hd
Alk 8.5 dkh
Calc 430
Mag 1350
Phos undetectable
Nitrate 5ppm
Dose brs 2 part via doser so everything is pretty stable.
Dose aquaforest probio s, probio f, coral V.
Dose acropower
Ato for stable salinity
Tank is in basement so no heat swings.

From my readings shaded low light gives it the bluish color and more light makes it more greenish but I never seen it cream colored unless it's new growth then it's kinda see through shoot a pic of it let us all see :)

I would give it more time in the shade. Anytime I have had one like that it colored up in the shade/very low light - but took awhile.
