I have have had this Cyphastrea frag for a few weeks now and i am having trouble finding a place for it. Ive tried every combination of flow/lighting and it still is just not happy. My parameters are fine and other colonies are thriving but this one is tough to crack. I have it in a shaded area mid way up the tank with low flow. Thats what i read it likes.

Anyone with cyphastrea, where do you have it in your tank?

Bump. I’d leave it where you believe it should go for awhile and see how it does. Moving it may be Irritating it. Maybe a week at a time to see if it improves.

Yep, corals can take a long time to warm up to where they are placed. If you move it all the time, it will never aettle, give it time and as long as it does not start to die just leave it be
