D.I.Y Stands

Getting ready to build a stand for my 40G Breeder.

Looking for ideas and would love to see what my fellow R2R'ers have done.

Currently helping a buddy put together a 47 gallon tank, including building a stand! Are you looking for simple blueprints or advice, or both!?

You can make it out of plywood. 2x4's are not necessary. But if you are simply not comfortable with that idea, then use a 1x4 product instead of 2x4's. You'll be happy with the extra room you have for sump and other equipment.

The basics are below in the diagram. Albeit constructed a little differently, the pictures are one I built using 1x4 pine.
