Last night BEFORE Game of Thrones it looked like this...

AFTER Game of Thrones it looked like this again...

Now this morning it looks like the first pic again. But its still raining!

I don't know about all of them but the one to the right had water about an inch from their door.
I too thought they for sure had water enter the home. Very lucky.

WOW that is crazy!! How is it today?

Raining, but all that water receded over night.
But some of my friends and coworkers have several feet of water in their homes and lost their cars.

If you are watching the news, we are located right above the NW corner of the 610 loop.
We've had rain all day but for the most part it has just been a normal, steady rain. No flooding in this area.
We seem to be through the worst of it as the storm moves to the East.
But Houston is huge so even though I may be having a break, others are getting slammed and are being evacuated/rescued as I write this.

I know there are and will be a lot of folks coming to Dallas because they need a place to stay. Going to talk to my church tomorrow to see how my family can help.

Both our airports are shut down.
I just heard that some people who are being rescued are now being transported to Galveston, to then be flown to Dallas.

We were evacuated in the most craziest way. At least the kids will have a story. LOL

The house may be a loss... I'm just happy were all safe, at a church, right now.

We lost power finally at 2am.
