This is a big problem with u verse and they really lock down their modems and it becomes a real pain in the you know what.
They do a lot of bit shaping already if you ever watch any downloads you can see things slow up on a download till you get an error on big file downloads.

Ok cool, I just replied to the thread in the GHL forum.
Going to try one of those power line adaptors on my Profilux and hopefully I get it to work with this link.

UPDATE 4-19-16

Been working on getting equipment and wiring mounted/organized.
I'm not a fan of those electrical raceways.
They do a nice job hiding the wires, but then you have these big bulky rectangle things taking up space and creating their own kind of eyesore.
I also didn't want to drill a bunch of holes in the Elos stand.
So instead I created a raised panel with the equipment mounted to the front and the wiring hidden behind.

First I created two main supports. Just some pine coated with Kilz paint.
Two recessed holes in each support, so four total holes in the stand.

Then I used some finished plywood for the main panel.
I laid everything out and drilled the appropriate sized holes.
Then a couple coats of Kilz and then several coats of gloss white spray paint.
This was then mounted to the supports.

Now I'm in the process of getting everything mounted to the panel.
I left a space between the MP40 controller and Vectra Controller for an additional MP40 in the future.
Still need to decide where I'm going to mount controller powerbars and regular power strips and then tidy up the wiring.
I'm also working on a shelf for the controller and doser.
And I had to add a little mood lighting.

The sump is in progress as I type this.
So hopefully I'll have most of this stuff done before I need to begin plumbing.

Schools were still closed yesterday from the Houston floods so I had some time to slip in an extra little project.

My Profilux is going to be stacked with my new white Doser 2 that I posted a pic of earlier.
I just couldn't bear the thought of the old gray/blue color scheme and the shiny new white/silver color scheme sharing the same shelf!
So I got to working on that today.

This was the earlier photo of the GHL Doser 2.

And this is an old photo of the Profilux with the old style Doser...

And this is what I used for paint... Rustoleum Lacquer spray paint.

A few screws removed, some lacquer spray paint and a spare afternoon...
Now I have a shiny new controller!

I'm currently working on the shelf that's going to hold the controller and doser.

Got the updated GHL Powerbars yesterday.
Even though they are shorter in length than the old ones (why I ordered them) I'm still amazed at how beefy they are.
Now I need to figure out where to mount them!

Finished the shelf I was working on today.
This is what I was in the middle of when I painted the Profilux.

It's just a 3 sided structure with standard right angle joints using a Kreg jig.
A little wood filler helped smooth out the seams.
The bottom left corner is notched out where it sits on top of the equipment panel.

Then I got to painting, using the same white Rustoleum Lacquer spray paint I used for the Profilux.

Between coats I used some 000 steal wool to help smooth it out and 0000 over the final coats.
I think I achieved a gloss finish.

And here it is installed in the stand.
Notice the red acrylic shelf. A little taste of what's to come.
