d2mini's "Essential Focus" Mixed Reef Build

Here's a few fish I put in the tank awhile ago but never got around to posting pics. :)
They are from diver's den.
They've done great so far. My only concern is that the smallest of the Anthias, while she hung around in the group the first few days, has since been off on her own, hiding most of the time.
It's been like that for weeks. I can go days without seeing her. She seems to favor the back right corner and sometimes i find her in one of the holes of the rock.
The male is a freakin pig. All he does is swim up front looking for food. lol
The tang seems to be content picking algae off rocks or the algae clip. Doesn't seem at all interested in Reef Frenzy or mysis.

When is jeep season over? I need new photo and tank excitement season to start again soon.... BOOM!

Comes with drone that follows the jeep. Stored in the spare tire case :-)

It has an integrated solar roof. Full solar auxiliary power.

Nice Jeep. Throw a RTT on it :)

haha, crazy.
I will have flat fenders some day. But I'm getting read to install my suspension lift starting sunday or monday. Need to pick up a smaller torque wrench. :)

I forgot to mention the jeep comes with about 7 trail stickers already meaning it's tackled some tough courses.

OK, new pics!

First, Mr. Naoko's Wrasse was released into gen pop today!
Here he is posing for his first pic in his new digs.

I think he's stoked for all the extra space and company. :)
And here's some other random shots, starting with two of my Wyoming White clowns.

So back in the previous tank I made the switch from LED back to MH/T5.
One reason was the shadowing that was creating problems like coral being bald underneath.
I showed this example of the same coral before (with LED) and a few months after running MH/T5.

Yesterday I took a pic of the same exact coral.
It's a mini colony I'm growing from a frag that came from the coral above.
Please excuse the color difference... that's just a white balance issue.
What you want to note is the impressive PE underneath.
And this coral is on the very end of my tank and the photo was taken through the side glass.

So I would say that SO FAR, having the G4 Pros, and an extra unit than what would typically be recommended, is working out pretty well as far as light spread.
Will be interesting to watch as the corals grow and begin to self-shadow more.
But so far I'm impressed. :)

d2mini , what refugium light you think is better I have read previous builds and you use the FLORALUX 150w HPS Mini Grow Light & the Mars Hydro 150W LEd
which one you think is superior to grow macro algae maybe pro and cons . Thanks for your time !!!

I went over to Tinman's house the other night for a quick coral hookup, and he recently put a G4 over his frag tank. Dude... I'm about sold!
That "Joe the Coral" above is from Tin, and he has a frag from me of that JF Rainbow Monti. :)

Tank's looking awesome, brutha!

Both work great but the Mars is led so less heat, no bulbs. I'd go with the Mars.
