Daasmo's 62g Lagoon

Very frustrated today. USPS was supposed to deliver my CUC today but instead they sent it 800 miles in the wrong direction. Now I just have to hope they deliver it before everything dies.

I don't even know what to say at this point. What are you doing USPS??? I'm not even sure this will be here by Monday.

Reef Cleaners order finally arrived this afternoon. Surprisingly some stuff actually lived. Including an adventurous Nassarius vibex that decided to climb a mountain from the sand bed.

CUC is hard at work so I'm looking towards my next fish. I will be getting a replacement watchman goby. I'm also considering a royal gramma and a midas blenny. I'm open to suggestions as well.

I'm a little concerned about my female clown being aggressive, so I ordered an acclimation box to help introduce new fish.

Ive never had clowns bother any other fish that weren't clowns lol
What about clown goby?

Added a hang on UV sterilizer to help combat cloudy water. I'm honestly amazed how clear my water is now. It seems to get very cloudy if I add Hikari algae wafers.

Today's testing.

Salinity 35ppt
pH 8.0
Nitrate 0 ppm
Alk 161ppm
Phosphate 0.04 ppm
Calcium 530 ppm

I'll be adding more fish soon. I want to add an anemone. Anything I need to change before then.

I found a local guy with some cool nems. This is definitely not where I placed it last night and I don't expect it will be there when I get home. I floated for 20 minutes then drip acclimated for about 50 minutes until pH matched my tank. Fingers crossed it finds somewhere it likes today.

Looks great! It will never be exactly where you want. Ive had nems for a long time and they always take a week or two to find s spot. It is odd it is in the sandbed though.

I watched it move. I'm glad I was watching because it got sucked to the mp40 nem guard. I was right there so I immediately put it in feed mode. I then turned it off and on a few times until the flow was able to push the anemone to a new spot. We'll see how long it decides to stay here.

It moved again overnight. I hope it stays in this spot. This is the side facing my kitchen and also the side the clownfish like to hang out on. So I'm certain it will move again.

LFS has a new coral cave so I went to the cheap section and picked up this zoa frag and a GSP frag. They've been in the tank a couple days. So far so good.

The anemone has decided to move back in the corner after a couple days. In considering just moving a rock over there to see if it will grab hold.

anemones have a mind of their own. It’ll keep moving until all of its demands are met lol. Mine moves around for about a week until it settled at the very top of my aquascape and hasn’t moved since. Your’s is lovely!

Great looking build, following!
